In 2024, we proudly mark ten years of Horst Arts & Music. What started as a hopeful endeavour in 2014 has flourished into a year-round tapestry, interwoven with an exhibition, atelier weeks, our own night club, and, of course, the annual festival. This 10th edition is not just a milestone, it’s a sincere thank you for joining us along the way.

Expo.
A brand new Horst Expo is set to unravel in the bewildering Asiat Park, titled ‘To Have or To Hold’. It entails site-specific commissions that tap into today’s reality and the future potential of the site. With some of the works that are designed to complement Asiat for a longer period, the expo surpasses the temporality of the exhibition-format.
Full expo programme: Afrah Shafiq, Every Island & Flore Fockedey, Luca Vanello, Maëlle Dufour, Piovenefabi, Rachel Daniëls, Sheila Hicks, Stand Van Zaken & Serban Ionescu.

A deeper connection with Asiat Park.
Our ambitions for 2024 are in the first place to celebrate what we’ve been trying to do for the past decade: redefining the festival experience by seamlessly blending arts, architecture, and music. It is our strong belief that a festival, a night club, an atelier and an arts exhibition can play a pivotal role in community-building and placemaking. For that exact reason, we’re deepening our connection with Asiat Park in 2024: In our Atelier operation, a dedicated workshop will concentrate on shaping the public space within the park. Additionally, our mainstage by Piovenefabi this year will also cater to the unique needs of Asiat Park, making it our first-ever activation that serves both as an impressive stage and a versatile sports and recreation venue for park visitors throughout the year, long after the festival dust has settled.
