It s not back to school yet, and it s not the end of the year. It is, however, the last WeLove of 2024. Is it really worth telling you that, as always, we ve gone to great lengths to bring you a line-up that s qualitative, different and original? The most Brussels-based of the Carolinians, freshly signed to Out of Border, Dj Milouch, will open the ball, and frankly, those of you who know what he s up to will know, but for the rest of you, a word of advice: get there early to take full advantage of his hypnotic, intoxicating selection. Then, Idriss D (it) of the Memento records label and boss, among others, of the dbArtists agency for connoisseurs, will honor us with his presence.
And because anthologies are anthologies, we ll also be lucky enough to welcome Tofke, La Rocca s legendary dj and one of the pioneers of the movement with his residencies at Le Globe and Le Balmoral.
We weren t quite sure how to tell you this, so happy are we that he s agreed to make his comeback with us, at worst as a one-shot, at best we ll see… He s no more, no less, the unique Monsieur Matieu who ll be offering us a musical story like only he knows how to tell. As for the rest, do we still need to introduce you to our valiant soldiers, Murvin Jay and Deniz Johnson, who, and it s been a long time, will be giving you a little b2b, which we think will be very spicy. Rone Akasri will close what is likely, once again, to be a timeless reunion and sharing of energies.
